Hi! I’m Jackie

My transcription journey began at the University of Sydney, where I completed my PhD in 2019. After I had packed away all my transcription equipment, thinking I would never look back, I was asked to assist with several other transcription projects; this is when I realised that I genuinely enjoy transcribing. The idea behind creating the Transcribenator is to provide a service where clients engage directly with the transcriber. I offer a bespoke transcription service where there is no intermediary involved, and all communication is with me, the transcriber.

When I’m not at my computer, I’m busy playing music, walking my dogs, cycling and practising yoga. And yes, I’m a Terminator 2 fan – the inspiration behind my business name.
